In my opinion this implementation of a wing - a dead end road. You ask why? Because the main difference between the wings of a bird on the wing of an ordinary aircraft - it's feathers. Feathers - it is the main secret of aerodynamic wings of a bird.
Flight of birds with mechanical wings without feathers will never be like the flight of live birds.
this is amazing.
would be interesting to know the details and how much power the bird consumes.
