Issue with Multipilot board

Hi,

I am having some issues with the board that I hope someone may be able to help with.

Firstly I flashed the board a few days ago with the Ardupirates32 code and everything seemed to work ok when I went into the CLI. Then today, I tried to upload the RC example code and had some difficulties connecting to the board. Once connected after about 10 attempts, I uploaded the code. When I powered the board on it now seems to be rebooting after a few seconds between two and 4 times (I see the text "Ardupilot 32 RC library test" multiple times - hence I assume it's rebooting).  Now it is almost impossible to connect to the board to reflash it.

Any ideas what the issue might be and how to fix it?

Thanks

Luke

  • Hi Luke,

are you using the usb of oilpan or usb of multipilot32 , use the mp32 usb ..

The header connector for activate flash boot is connected ? are you patch your oilpan ?

What kind of procedure are you using ?

    Best

    • Hi Roberto,

I'm following the same procedures as you outlined in your video for flashing the board. I'm using the multipilot32 USB connection and not the oilpan usb connection.

I tried again and could successfully connect and flash it a few times, then no luck reconnecting and flashing after that.

One thing I noticed is that the red light on the mp32 board stays on for about two seconds, then goes out, doing this twice before staying on. Is this normal? It does this whether the board is in flash mode or not.

One mistake I did make was trying to power the board from a 2 cell lipo. I assumed this would be ok, and didn't check before trying it. The problems started after I did that, could this have caused any of these issues do you think?

      Thanks
      Luke
